Design & Construction

Leda’s Design and Construction service assists the commercial, industrial, retail and residential divisions to quickly assess the feasibility of a proposed development or refurbishment. The division takes a project from the concept stage, conducts relevant authority negotiations for approval, prepares accurate project budgets to facilitate efficient design and construction, and is
circumspect regarding quality, budget and timeline.

Some examples managed by Leda Design and Construction are:

Ipswich Riverlink

Ipswich City is Queensland’s oldest provincial city. It is one of three key metropolitan centres designated in the South East Queensland Regional Framework for Growth Management.. The Ipswich Central Business District (CBD) is located on the original centre of the historic town of Limestone.

The Bremer River flows through the Ipswich City Centre. On the northern side, the Bremer River was relatively inaccessible to the public owning to the railway depot and the former gasworks site.

A key focus of Council’s River Heart vision is to integrate and make much better use of the Bremer River as a community focus and landscape resource. In compliance to the Council’s “River Heart” vision the Riverlink Development will integrate with the existing CBD and assist the Bremer River becoming a local point for community life.

Riverlink Development

The new Ipswich Riverlink site will be located at the northern edge of the City Heart of Ipswich, less than an hour drive west of Brisbane.

This dynamic precinct will bring together a Homemaker Centre, Factory Outlets, Retail Centre and an elevated fast food court overlooking the Bremer River.

For leasing enquires please contact Robert Ritchie (Queensland Leasing Executive) on 0418 800 225.

Cleaning up the Site

Historical use resulted in a range of contaminants being present at the site. These contaminants need to be treated, disposed of correctly and managed with the objective to ensure the site is suitable for the intended use.

The cleaning up of the site will also include the dismantling of the gasometer framework, which will be renovated and re-erected as part of the development
